Mike's S/\TURN

I drive a 1994 S/\TURN SC2. (The repainted back panel and spoiler are from my defunct '95 SC2 which makes it look like a '95).  My dad acquired the vehicle in December 1997 with about 76,000 miles on the odometer.  It was supposed to be my car (so I thought).  I got an old Honda Accord.  Four years later, because of a series of events and circumstances, I got the '94 SC2 and my dad bought a '00 Honda Insight (which he is currently performing some modifications to).  I currently have 144,000 miles on the car. The car got a new (remanufactured) ATK motor at 142,000 miles (ask me why).  The odometer currently reads about 62,000 miles.  The instrument POD was replaced with a used one from M&S recycling.

It is a most enjoyable automobile. My dad and I have done extensive modifications to it to improve it's handling, performance and appearance. I have had few repairs and find it to be inexpensive and fun to drive.  You can see my old '95 SC2 and mom's supercharged '98 4Runner in the background.  My old '95 SC2 had a major transmission failure while in the hands of a Saturn Technician at a Saturn repair facility (they were test driving the car after a radiator replacement).  The front end had been repaired with faulty parts and never got fixed properly along with other problems.  My dad decided to part out the '95.  See below.

You now see where I got the RED parts from including the back panel (painted WHITE), to modify the exterior of my S/\TURN to make it look like a '95 from the rear.........  Ouch, I forgot to stop on time...............................
