EAGLES SOAR OVER FALCONS

For the second game in a row, Southwest played a great first quarter, let their opponent back in the game, but pulled away in the end. This time the visiting Eagles (2-0, 2-0) beat Ferguson, 59-43. Southwest moved the ball around well offensively jumping out to a 24-10 first quarter lead. The Falcons (0-3, 0-2) pulled within 7 points midway through the third quarter but hit only one field goal in the final period. Rey Lleonart had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Gio Gonzalez led the Eagles with 15 points, 5 assists, and 3 steals. Oscar Blanco had 12 points and 3 steals. Reserve guard Adrian Couto is injured and did not dress. The scoring:
