EAGLES LOSE AT SOUTH DADE

South Dade used a height advantage and biased officiating to defeat the visiting Eagles, 72-47. The Buccaneers (15-6) led 18-12 after one quarter, 30-22 at the half, and 52-38 entering the final period. The officials sent South Dade to the foul line 26 times, compared to only 12 attempts for the Eagles (9-11). Leo Torres, injured all season, dressed for the first time but did not see any action.
